Vacation Bible School
June 19th-23rd, 2023: 8:30am - Noon.

Vacation Bible School is a weeklong all morning camp program for children pre-K to 7th graders. Through music, art, games and drama children experience a week of faith-filled fun from 8:30am - 12P. Hero Hotline is the theme for this summer's week of VBS. Rising 9th graders and older are needed to volunteer to make this a memorable week for all. Cost is $110.
H.O.M.E. Mission Trip to Orland, Maine
Sunday, July 9th @7:30 am – Saturday, July 15th @4pm, 2023
The high school youth group heads to Maine for a week of hard work, opportunities to develop practical home repair skills, new friends, fun and adventure. Four days of work on H.O.M.E. properties including homeless shelters, transitional housing, other H.O.M.E. buildings, and the farm occupy two to four work groups from 9-3:30. Head to the local river or lake to swim and refresh before returning to base camp to make and enjoy dinner. We take a midweek break to visit Acadia National Park - a day at Sand Beach and/or a hike up the Beehive - complete with a group picture at the summit of Cadillac Mountain. The remainder of our day off is spent shopping and then eating dinner together in Bar Harbor. Evenings are spent sharing about the day's work, attending a steel band concert and more. This is a wonderful opportunity to stretch yourself, make lasting friendships and engage in meaningful community service. Cost is $475. [This trip is open to rising 9th graders and older.]
Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic
Saturday, June 24th - Sunday, July 2nd, 2023
Play with kids all day and learn and practice your Spanish while helping a couple of churches in the DR (Santo Domingo area) run very busy vacation Bible school programs for local children. Stay at the diocesan house in Santo Domingo, eat local food, visit the city of Santo Domingo, make new friends from around CT, get a whole new perspective of church and faith, and develop some incredibly practical leadership skills. When was the last time you organized a game of duck-duck-goose in Spanish? Students studying any language are welcome. Cost (largely dependent upon airfare) is approximately $2000 and is all inclusive. Participants must have a passport valid beyond December 2023.
Camp Washington Summer Camp

Hiking, cookouts & campfires are part of the adventure as well as swimming, canoeing, sports, arts & crafts, archery and more.
