ABOUT ST ANDREWS

About St. Andrew's

St. Andrew’s is all about community. Our community within the walls of the church, our community with the outside world, and our community with God. We are an inclusive, multi-racial family church with many people from across the shoreline.

We are a vibrant congregation with engaging activities for all. Our adults are active with book clubs, programs such as Sacred Ground, and partnerships with others like Habitat for Humanity and The Witness Stones Project. Our youth group is always on the move and our church school is a growing community.

We love our shoreline area, which gives us beautiful places to gather. We love our memorial garden, outdoor chapel, woods, and paths. We are thankful for God’s earth and work to protect it through our mission of Creation Care.

We hope to grow in deepening our faithful understanding of how we are called to participate in God's mission. Many of us come from other denominations and traditions. Whether you are a visitor for a special occasion, someone who has entered these doors for a moment of reflection or are seeking a spiritual home—you are welcome at St. Andrew’s.

We would love to meet and welcome you. Come and grow together in God's love.

"I think of all those who have been told they need to choose between who God made them to be and a relationship with the God who made them. I am grateful I was never asked or forced to make this choice. My assurance of God’s love for me was never in question. And I am so thankful for the life I have been given.

If you’re wondering if it is possible to be authentically you and have a relationship with God in community, I’m here to tell you the answer is yes. If you need help finding a community where you will be free to be you, please reach out. God loves you, and there’s nothing you can do to change that."
